White is opening point - Good daily basics/casuals. Some white label still maintain shell buttons, like the oxfords, but it is specified on the product page. I'm definitely happy to be corrected. I reached out to customer service once and they told me that the white label were resin buttons (which, admittedly, is directly contrary to what it says in your cited link). Interestingly if you look at the (non-button down) white label shirts it does not...- carlyle

The fabric of the fine twill is flat whereas the royal twill will have a bit of texture running in straight lines.
