I love the grey herringbone. Can be worn with nearly anything: dressed up like @DonRaphael would, or dressed down with cowboy boots like I often do. Can’t recommend it enough!

Square toes are the name of the game in my neck of the woods. However, I’m not a huge fan of the super wide, double stitch welt that is popular these days. Been looking for a nice pair of subtle square toes and I finally found them - Chisos #2 I received today: Made of retired dairy cow leather...

Yes, this fall’s version. It’s not my heaviest sportcoat but I certainly wouldn’t call it lightweight. I think it’s about perfect - Any heavier and I’d want to take it off indoors. Any lighter and I’d want another layer when the temps dip.

All Spier Mackay for what I like to call my “Professor Indiana Jones” look. Charcoal high rise flannels, ‘vintage’ white OCBD, and the antique grey herringbone jacket. Really getting a lot of use out of this sportcoat… super versatile.

All S&M today (except shoes) for a work event. Love this fresco suit, but the pants don't drape well on me. Probably a size issue - still figuring it out. I don't have any experience with high-end ties but this SM feels and looks nice for the price. Somewhat heavy interlining, but I like the...

Sure, I'm 6'0 and no, these are what I'd call a mid-rise pair of wrangler jeans. I'm just awkwardly proportioned.

It's the VBC covert cloth suit from FW 2020. (snagged it on eBay) If I remember correctly, it was made up as a neo cut jacket.

Got the antique grey herringbone jacket in today. This is my first winter-weight jacket from SM, sure glad I sized up! I normally wear a 42 contemp. but depending on tolerances I've had a few that are a bit tight in the chest and shoulders. Decided to go up to a 44 and there is no possible way...

I ordered it today. I'm borderline on size and was considering sizing up due to the heavier cloth. But the decision was made for me, since the smaller size was already sold out... Fingers crossed that it all works out.

I received the gray donegal this week and thought the same thing - "surely it's just the fabric weight" but no, I think it's very restricting with the higher armhole. I feel it most in the upper chest/front of shoulder. I really love the fabric, do you think that letting out the upper back or...

Oddly enough, I feel the exact opposite. All of my current SM sport coats (42r contemp) have zero extra room in the armhole. I'm worried that the new, higher armhole will cut into my armpit, making it unwearable. But, RTW can't please everyone!

Considering trying a DB suit with this sale going on... Anyone want to convince me to get my wallet open? I'm a little concerned about proportions and such - will a DB make me look short and stocky? Do they fit differently than a single breasted suit? Are the lapels proportional? etc, etc...

Leans more white, with mid/dark brown variations that resolves to light brown at a distance. I like pairing it with darker blue shirts, helps it not seem so bright up top. I really like the texture of it - Better hand than the brown bottoli slub but still has nice variation.
