I found these at the thrift the other day. They were so odd looking and cheap that I took a chance. I can't figure out the maker though, as most of the lettering has been worn off. I thought maybe Johnston and Murphy based on the few letters I could see, but I can't find anything like them...
As a re-seller, I sometimes come across a used piece of clothing that feels and looks high quality, but for whatever reason doesn't sell for very much on eBay. I thought listing some of those items might be a fun resource for those of us who don't have the largest wardrobe budget.
I found these great chukka boots today at a thrift but can't figure out the maker. The only clues are the soles marked made in Northamptonshire England, and the tongue of one boot has either "SA" OR "VS" in a circle . Any ideas?
The leather on the inside of the tongues feels like very soft...
