Trad is the perfect combination of refinement and sturdiness. BTW, this morning I saw that beautiful Ulster Q is making for you. That LL cloth wears like an elegant suit of armor.

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

That's a terrible experience. You should have spoken directly to Mark on something like this. He is very approachable. I am pretty sure he would have honored your return request or done something to help you. May I ask why you didn't have the Armoury perform the alterations, which I believe are...

You have some great stuff in the works....who's making your ulster coat and what's the timeline for completion, i.e, how many fitting and months in total time? Thanks.

I think it's time for a @Jmr928 mini-interview. First, how do you think you dress relative to your work colleagues, more conservative or less? What's the stated dress code at your office? I imagine you get lots of compliments at work on your clothing. If yes, how do you feel about it? How does...

I simply like the fit for me - which is the most significant factor for my patronage. I don't limit my bespoke commissions to Liverano and just made it onto Corcos' rotation by the skin of my teeth. But I won't exclude L&L either. If they decided to not come to NYC, I'd force my family into...

L&L has plenty of die-hard customers. In fact, sometimes it’s hard to even get an appointment on the weekends. And in L&L’s defense, it’s certainly frustrating while you wait, but when you get your deliveries, it’s well worth every day of the wait.

You think? I don‘t. Too many customers with orders that take them way out into 2024/5. L&L has some die hard customers in New York.

Most important handwork on a shirt

@Thomas Auer I always notice how the cuff is inserted at the wrist placket by hand giving the cuff a leaner look and finishing. That is, a nice handmade shirt will have no folds and no visible stitching where the sleeve is inserted by hand at the cuff, almost like a spalla camicia shoulder...

Yes, I agree and will add that many Liverano customers are also Corcos customers as well as customers of the other tailors that could be described as "competitors".
