Viberg Boots - Reviews, appreciation, news - share yours

How wide are your feet? If your feet are normal width, I'd start with a size 9.

At the risk of covering something that has already been discussed, what's sizing on the 110 last relative to the 2030 last? I'm an 8.5 on the 2030 last but I go down 1.5 sizes from my typical size 10 in Nike, etc. I'm local and can visit your shop if it would simplify sizing.

I'd like to bounce something off the citizens of this thread. Before I go any further, I just want to say that the Viberg stockist I purchased them from has been very accommodating and responsive to my concerns regarding the boots. There's about a quarter inch difference between the two boots...

There's obviously no way to determine if your situation is similar to mine, but when I had my 2030's a half size too large, they were somewhat snug at the start and over the course of 4-5 wears they started to look what yours look like as far as lacing. With less than 10 wears it got to the...

If tied tight, how close do the eyelets get? Or were they tight in that picture? You mentioned the top was loose. If tied tight, is it still loose?

It's obviously difficult to judge on a picture alone, but I would agree with the others. Are the laces tight enough over the instep that your ankle is firmly in place? If so, I'd say you're good. It was very clear for me when the instep wasn't tight enough.

Rivet & Hide equates Viberg's sizing to UK sizing.

Absolutely. The takeaway I was going for was that I'd be willing to wager that there are many out there who purchase a pair of 2030 lasted boots and they think the fit is alright but they could afford to go down a half size for an optimal fit. Anyway, feet are weird. I'll leave it at that.

I think it comes down to the fact that feet have so many variables as far as size. I'm likely able to drop 1.5 sizes because my left food is C/D width and the right is a D. I have what I consider to be low volume feet with a low instep. I could absolutely see those with wider and/or voluminous...

I measure between a Brannock 9.5 and 10 without socks and with socks I'm easily a 10. Brannock's own website indicates that measurements should be done with socks on. I had a hell of a time isolating my size on the 2030. I wore a 9.5 for some time and it didn't take long for me to realize that...

Do you happen to know your Brannock size?

@grizzlygiant if this makeup or something similar were to happen, would a brass zipper be an option? I agree with the other comments, the white zipper looks ridiculous.

Grabbed the Chelsea Boot in size 9. Thanks for the heads up. Hell of a price.
