Ask A Question, Get An Answer... - Post All Quick Questions Here (Classic menswear)

I bought saphir shoe cream for my G&G's in vintage rioja calf, I't turned out to be for cordovan skin. I'm just worried that the polish won't give my shoes the protection they need if i use it. I tried to return it but they didn't have the color i need. So the question is if the cordovan cream...

I would say that 700 is too expensive for the quality of the suit you get. It's stil 700 for a suit wich probably has the same construction as a suit from Zara or H&M.

    Corneliani Leadear sup. soft

Hello SF:ers! I was wondering if any of you guys have any experience with Corneliani Leader Super Soft. I'm contemplating ordering one off the rack but with a specific fabric and patch pockets, (since the Super Soft don't have an MTM program). My concerns are the overall fit of the jacket. The...

    New 'top drawer' Church's range?

This sounds very interesting. I really like Church's and from my experience my Tauton on the 119 last in betis are absolutely great. I love both the last and the finishing. The leather feels thick but not as supple as G&G. Maybe that could be a result from the coloring process. My only objection...

Watch guys, sell two conservative watches for one fun watch?

Do you need the money? Is it a way to liquidate capital? If so, yes, but only you can decide. I wouldn't have any regrets in selling a watch that doesn't get any wrist time. And maybe your current watches have too similar usage. I like the idea of a "fun" watch, just recently fell in...

Recent Purchases (Classic menswear - formerly Men's clothing)

A Ermenegildo Zegna suit, summer trofeo cloth, in the babylon fit. Blue. It's at the tailor for alterations now but I can barley wait for it to be done.

Help me Decide on a Watch!

I would go with the GO PML. It has a better finished movement. To me at least, the dial is more interesting. I love the shape of the blue hands and It's said that GO has the best date function in the industry. I would also check out the GO PanoReserve. It's slightly thinner and has a 42 hour...

    Panerai at the office?

I rotated a JLC Master Control Grand Tourbillon, an IWC Portuguese Minute Repeater and an Audemars Piguet Jumping Hour Minute Repeater all throughout junior high school and nobody seemed to notice. So just wear what you like and don't worry what other people think! But I do echo previous...

    Phat Guido's Mystery Tailor Revealed!

I find the EZ traveller model a bit to boxy. Have you altered the shoulders in some way? For me at least, the armpits are way to wide.

Sorry for highjacking the tread, but i have another question about incos - are there different fits like "incos slim" or are all incos the same? id like to get a pair of the slimmer ones but at shop the finest they rate the style as classic.

elegant or gaudy? Shirt, tie, square combo...

I agree the. The pocket square is the biggest issue. Otherwise I think it looks alright.
