C&J Boston vs Alden Loafer
I've actually been tossing around a similar question. They're not out yet but you might also look to the Armoury's house model (or SoH, see above). They'll both lean less trad and more dressy than either the Boston or the LHS but might work for you.- ahtynes

I have two pairs of FW19 coverts in 32 contemporary, gray and navy, high rise/single pleat/side tabs. They ran a little small that year so might be better for 31 contemporary or 32 slim. Hemmed with 2" cuffs and 30" inseam. Great condition.- ahtynes
