Vintage Stellaris Swiss watch, Nice Project 17 j Swiss Made Day Date Stainless Steel Works

Vintage Stellaris Swiss watch, Nice Project 17 j Swiss Made Day Date Stainless Steel Works

This is a very nice project watch to restore. It has beautiful dial and classic shape. The dial is stainless steel and textured with very neat numerals and fluorescent markers. Unusual vertical DAY/DATE at 6 o'clock. The dial is clean for the age only the glass (crystal) needs polishing or replacement which is easy and inexpensive. The watch itself works just fine , but I would do the cleaning, re-oiling service on it if you plan on restoring it. Then I would polish the body and bracelet (I did that already ,see pics). That is it. You will have a Swiss vintage watch to keep for lifetime. I would try it with the black crock strap as well. The watch is 32mm without crown. Classic vintage Rolex shape. Comes on a real crocodile leather strap without holes. The watch is wearable right away it works and keeps time.
