Incredible authentic US Navy G-1 flight jacket made in the late 60s-early 70s by Star Sportswear.

Goatskin leather with a fantastic texture - later models were sometimes produced in cowhide with an embossed texture, but this is the genuine article, tough and great looking leather.
Features buttoned pockets, pleated shoulders for increased mobility, a throat latch to keep the collar up and close around your neck in the cold, a full lining, and elastic knit cuffs and hem.
Very good pre-owned condition, especially for its age. The leather is in excellent shape with little visible wear. The lining is more-or-less immaculate. The original Scovill zipper could do with an oiling as it’s tough at the moment and the zipper’s leather tab has come off, and there are a few tiny nicks in the outside layer of the knit waistband.
Tagged a size 40 and fits like a true Medium. Approximate measurements-
- Underarm to underarm: 22in
- Shoulder width across top back: 18.5in
- Sleeve length from top shoulder seam: 25.5in
- Back length from bottom collar seam: 25in
