Adventurer by Stevenson Overall Co., tagged as AV2-NV size Small, never worn.
Made in Japan.
100% cotton, 8oz organic denim.
Produced on vintage shuttle looms
Weft is undyed natural organic cotton in its pure (brown) state
Warp is overdyed with pure indigo
Tonal stitching (much with single-needle construction)
Two chest flap pockets
Neck strap
Cats-eye buttons
Brass plate just below left collar stamped "SO & CO"
French (folded) placket
The cut is based on a 1940’s workwear shirt
The fabric and stitching on this are amazing. You can not fully appreciate the fabric until you look closely and observe the golden brown neps poking through from the weft. Even looking at it from an arm length away, the texture is almost unnoticeable. In fact, it isn't until you view the inside of the shirt that you can really appreciate the texture of the weave, as well as the stitching. This is one seemingly small detail that sets Stevenson apart from the rest. Another cool detail is the french placket, where the fabric is folded inward (4" in this case) and kept in place only by the button-hole stitching and is tapered and stitched from the chest upward (notice the tonal stitching in the close-up of the neck). The brand goes to great lengths to make quality products, with details that only a discerning eye will catch. This shirt has never been worn, just sitting in the closet, and could use a light ironing for the wrinkles.
- Dimensions :
Shoulder width : 17.2"
Chest width : 20.1"
Sleeve length : 24.5"
Back length : 28.9"
- Regular retail price : $275, open to trades.
