  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

A beautiful, classic tuxedo with matching waistcoat from Charles Tyrwhitt and matching RLBL tie. Throw on a shirt and some shoes and you’ve got a complete tux!

Why am I getting rid of it? I put on some muscle and it doesn’t fit in the chest anymore, the only place you can’t alter with a tailor. And these are already tight.

NOTE: you need to size up because I’m normally a 44R and this is labeled a 46R and it’s still snug- honestly a 42R would fit this better; see measurements below.

This checks all the boxes for a by-the-book, proper tuxedo: peak lapels, grosgrain lapels, grosgrain buttons, ventless back, grosgrain stripe on the pants, suspender buttons on the pants (seen in pictures), no cuffs on the pants…ever feature is proper and meticulous. You cannot look bad or out of place in this tux at a black tie event. I love it, it just doesn’t fit anymore.

Shoulders: 20.75”
Chest: 22”
Length (from back): 32.75”
Sleeves (cuff to seam): 24”

Waist: 17.5” (with about 1.5” to let out in waist)
Inseam: 30”
Total length: 40.5”
Hem: 9”
Knee: 10”
Thigh: 13.25”
