ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

POLO BLUE LABEL SUMMER JACKET IN LINEN HERRINGBONE.

Made in Italy, and absolutely beautiful with functional cuffs!

Tagged 38R. Measurements:

Chest: 20 1/2
Sleeve: 25 (+1 1/2)
Shoulder: 18 1/4
Length: 30 1/2

This is, as I note in the title of the post, absolutely gorgeous.

Made in Italy for Polo Blue Label this is cut from beautiful linen cloth in lovely cream herringbone. Unlike most linen--which will rumple if you look at it--this cloth is cool yet substantial, and will keep you looking elegant even as the temperature rises.

The cut and construction of the jacket do full justice to the beauty of the cloth. Given its Italian heritage this is cut in the Italian style, with a three button front, lovely narrower 1960s-style lapels with a fluid roll, and darting. It has three patch pockets--the two lower pockets are flapped--all of which feature lapped seams.

It has four button, and all of the buttons are fully functional.

It has a single center vent.

The jacket is unlined except for an 1/8 lining in the shoulders. This is, of course, a lovely antique ivory to complement the cream of the shell. The jacket is beautifully constructed--as you'd expect from an unlined jacket made for Polo Blue Label.

This jacket does have a couple of *very* faint blemishes--although these are very faint, and I only found them after examining the jacket closely in bright sunlight. They are also inconspicuous, being on the back and the back of one sleeve; the most significant is a dark blemish on the inside of the collar--this will likely be removed with dry-cleaning. These are shown in the pictures--although since they are so faint they were very hard to capture!

This jacket is thus in Very Good condition.

Asking just $45, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA.
