Extremely strong frame and tightly strung canopy.
Umbrella sleeve in the same material as the canopy.
Stick is 37.5 inches long
Canopy is 45 inches wide
As you likely know if you're reading this listing, Mario Talarico is a legendary umbrella maker in Naples whose family has been making umbrellas by hand since the 19th century. He and his nephew make every umbrella themselves and are considered among the top three umbrella makers in the world, even a step above Brigg. Additionally, they are perhaps the only umbrella makers who still hand forge the wood in their creations.
VERY difficulty to find Talarico umbrellas online these days. Talarico does not take online orders directly. Each piece of wood is steamed and slowly bent into shape over the span of six months or more. They artfully pair each wooden stick with a canopy that compliments the wood's natural characteristics, as you can see here. A beautiful specimen of world-class craftsmanship, but also a practical and useful umbrella, extremely satisfying to hold, and practically guaranteed not to turn inside out. Will ship in a sturdy and well-padded tube.
