Perfect jacket for that @Cotton Dockers look :)

It's in essentially perfect condition with no wear showing. The fabric is what EG calls "Uniform Serge" (see the photo of the yellow seal that's in several places on the inside of the jacket). It's 100% wool.

The current season version of this jacket (Navy Uniform Serge Baker) is on The Bureau Belfast for around $525. The last photo (zoom on the button) is actually from Bureau Belfast; I just included it for a better shot of what the color looks like, since my photos are a bit dark.

Lots of cool details, as is the EG M.O., even though it's a simple/classic-looking navy jacket at first glance:
  • Taped internal seams
  • Quarter-lined (I think, but I can never keep 1/4, 1/2, etc., straight)
  • Useful large inside pocket on the left side
  • Button at the top of the lapels, so you can button it all the way up
  • Looks like it has side vents, but it's actually fabric folded in over itself (I'm not sure what the technical term is for this type of "vent")
Approximate measurements below. As you can see, it's a slimmer large. I think it'd be perfect for a slightly loose look if you're tall-ish (around 5'10"+) and lanky, or it would be a good classic look if you're not lanky. I wouldn't recommend this for the guys who hit the gym hard.
  • Shoulders (from behind): 18.25-18.5"
  • Chest (pit to pit): 20-20.25"
  • Length (bottom of collar to hem): 28"
  • Sleeve (shoulder to cuff): 26"
