PRICE DROPPED! NOW $120 SHIPPED within Canada and USA.
Here is a beautiful mid-weight double-breasted pea-coat from Tokyo's Dry Bones label, a group of hardcore 40s-50s rock'n'roll loving denim fanatics. This awesome coat incorporates some killer vintage details (broad notched lapel, bright red quilted lining throughout, for warmth) with new-school upgrades (extra zip pockets on left forearm and right chest).
Exterior is a very tightly woven wind-resistant cotton whipcord twill in what I would call a "sand" colorway (slightly darker than the usual khaki), with a slight sheen to it, like the "westpoint" twill fabric seen on wings+horns flagship chinos. Medium/heavy weight, this whipcord is similar to what you would find on some Iron Heart jackets and pants. This is a perfect coat for spring/fall, but could be worn during mild winters as well, due to the insulated lining. Buttons are tonal on the inside and out: khaki exterior buttons and a red interior "jigger" button to match the lining. In addition to the 2 welted slash pockets on the abdomen (for your hands), and the inner chest pockets (6" deep), there are also 2 contrasting slanted zip pockets. The one one the left arm is shallow, with room for coins, while the one on the right chest (hidden when buttoned up) has enough room for cards, etc. Reinforced triple stitching on hem and cuffs, back center vent.
This is slightly too wide fitting for me, so I need to let it go. Condition is about 8.5/10, due to light wear. No notable flaws though. Retail was about $500, so this is a steal.
Measurements (inches) taken buttoned and laying flat:
Chest: 20 1/4"
Shoulders: 17 1/4"
Abdomen @ bottom button: 19 3/4"
Center Back Length from collar seam to hem: 30 1/2"
Arm length from shoulder seam: 23"
Tracked shipping included within Canada and USA. Please inquire about shipping elsewhere.
I am open to trades, so feel free to shoot me a message. I'm usually an Iron Heart XS-S, 30" waist, and 6.5-7.5 footwear for reference. Thanks for looking!
