These classic Alden longwings in color 8 shell cordovan leather were built on the Barrie last. The shoes feature goodyear welted leather soles, stacked leather heels with a rubber cap, and the interiors are fully lined with a high quality leather. A beautiful shoe that strikes a nice balance between casual and formal.
Condition is very good. The all leather lined interiors are very clean. The leather uppers are a rich dark burgundy/ brown and in very good condition with no issues. Most of the life remains in the thick double leather soles. The stacked heels show light wear in the back but also have plenty of life. I gave the shell a very brief brushing with a horsehide brush but these would really pop with a proper professional polish. Stitching is strong and tight. The shoes are totally stable and ready to wear. See photos. No shoe trees included.
