I purchased this sport coat preowned and wore it about 8 times. I did not alter the jacket at all, but the previous owner did. I bought the sport coat from a respected consignor who verified authenticity. This is not a super-old jacket like many you see being sold on eBay (button stance, lapel width, and condition confirm it's a relatively recent jacket).
This jacket has a beautiful check pattern. Color palette works well for both fall and spring. The fabric is fairly lightweight, but because it is cashmere, it wears warm and is best suited for cooler weather. Fit is trim but not overly slim. Length is long.
Condition is very good. No tears, holes, or stains that I am aware of. Being cashmere, there is some minor pilling in spots, but nothing major. The first owner clearly did not wear it very often. Lots of life left in this jacket, and if I wore sport coats enough in my new job, I would keep it for myself.
This jacket originally retailed for thousands of dollars at Barneys New York.
