[PRICE DROP] Kardo Hand-Embroidered Camp Shirts x2 - M

Kardo is a brand I learned about from NMWA. They design and produce every piece in their own workshop in New Delhi using traditional techniques to craft and dye their clothing. Processes such as block printing, chikankari embroidery and using natural dyes for all their hand loomed fabrics give the garments a soul and ensure the art lives on.

These two "Chintan" camp shirts are woven on a handloom by the weavers of Udyog Bharti from lightweight, breezy khadi cotton. These garments were then hand embroidered with whimsical images by Md Ashraf, a skilled embroiderer from Bengal, using a chain stitch technique called Ari. Each panel is individually embroidered on a frame before the garment is stitched. Relaxed fit.

Both retailed around $250. Both new with tags, size medium.
