Hey everyone. I used to be quite active on these forums but it's been a while. I'm back now to list some items for sale from my closet. First up, I have a favorite pair of Paul Smith dress boots, purchased new in the early 2010s or so when Paul Smith shoes and boots was at their peak of quality and design.
The model was called the York, one of Paul Smith's high-end, hand crafted and made in Italy models, in beautiful brown leather with a back zipper and no laces. The York was similar to Paul Smith's Timur and Kasmin models. I hate to part with these, but my lifestyle involves less nightlife and dressing up these days so it's time to send these to a new home. I believe these cost close to $500 new at retail.
These have been worn but very gently and definitely not abused. I always had at least 3 or 4 pairs of boots plus a bunch of pairs of sneakers, so I only wore these occasionally and made sure to keep this as my nicest pair of dress boots. I never wore them in rain or bad weather. I also took care of them, regularly polishing them, conditioning the leather, and keeping them in shoe trees. Metal toe plates were professionally added to the soles for additional protection, as you can see in the pictures. Also, I only wore this particular pair
That said, there are a few scuffs as you'd expect, but these are in really good shape.
As a bonus, I will ship these with cedar shoes trees (see picture) and the original Paul Smith bag. However, I no longer have the original box.
These boots are sized a bit large. Technically translates to a 9.5US, but I usually wear a size 10US in most brands and these size 8.5UK fits me perfectly.
