  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

This is a vintage Schott leather flight jacket in excellent used condition. Originally from the late 70s or early 80s, this jacket is built with thick, sturdy cowhide, Talon zippers, soft mouton lining, and tightly stitched ribbing. It’s built like a tank and will continue to age beautifully for decades if taken care of properly.

This jacket is broken in but in excellent condition. All hardware works perfectly and the synthetic mouton lining and collar are in great shape (see photos). The leather shows typical wear for a vintage jacket of this age (I’ve tried to photo some of that for you), but truly has a beautiful patina and shows no tears or serious flaws. The ribbing has some very mild pilling, but is very firm and in otherwise great condition. All original tags are still attached as well, which is unusual to see.

One flaw of note: there is a little scuffing on the sleeves and one mark in particular is more prominent, which I’ve shown in the photos. I think if you conditioned the leather, it’d be fine but wanted to make sure you could see it before you bought. This item is priced accordingly as well.

Tagged size is a 36, which is basically a TTS small. For reference, I am 5’9”, 140-145 and this fits me beautifully. Measurements are as such:

Chest pit to pit: 19 inches
Shoulders across back: 16.5 inches
Sleeves on outside shoulder seam to end of ribbing: 25 inches
Back length from base of collar to end of ribbing: 24 inches

This is a really fantastic jacket. All sales are final so please ask any questions you might have beforehand!

$100 plus $10 shipping to CONUS (please message for shipping outside of the US). Open to all reasonable offers, so hit me up!
