[SOLD] Merz B. Schwanen 3W48 Merino/Cotton Woven Sweatshirt

[SOLD] Merz B. Schwanen 3W48 Merino/Cotton Woven Sweatshirt

When it comes to quality and craftsmanship, Merz B. Schwanen truly make the best sweats and knits money can buy. Everything is hand woven on vintage circular knitting machines that allow for particular dense, soft weaves without side seams for superlative comfort and durability. You can really tell the difference when you handle the fabric.

This particular 3W48 sweatshirt is a top-of-the-line model, made from 30% merino wool and 70% cotton, all organic. The wool/cotton blend allows for superior warmth and breathability, and has a naturally irregular slubby texture that is really nice. Lined with fleece so super cozy. The ribbing at the neckline, hem, and cuffs is top notch and won’t stretch with wear like cheaper brands. The color is called “khaki mélange,” sort of a really subtle oatmeal.

Retail $250. Made in Germany. Brand new without tags – only thing I did was to soak it once in cold water according to the instructions (the length shrinks slightly to its permanent length after one soak, according to the instructions, so the size below should be the true size).

SIZING NOTE: Tagged 7, which is supposed to translate to an L/XL, but Merz always fits VERY slim, and this fits a full 1-2 sizes small, like a slim medium, or a small if you prefer a looser fit.
Shoulder to shoulder: 16
Chest: 20.5
Sleeve length: 25
Back length: 25.75
