Meermin Black Plain Toe Blucher/Derby 8.5UK/9.5US

Some Meermin Blucher/Derbys for ya. They're size 8.5 UK, or 9.5 US, and are in the HIRO last, which fits true-to-size. Made from French calf. Kept in Woodlore shoe trees.

I'm a big fan of the plain-toe look. These shoes have a commando-style sole and a minimalist look, so I've been able to dress them both up and down. I've worn these with both Stan Ray fatigues as well as suits, and it looks great with either.

After I purchased these, I realized I'm actually a 9 US, so I'm selling them. I've worn them around 20 times. They're in good condition and still not totally broken in. But because of the sizing issue, the sole on the front of the shoe has some additional wear. It's nothing significant -- you can see everything in the photos -- but I wanted to disclose it.

Also, the Meermin shoelaces snapped after the second or third wear, so I replaced them with a pair of black ones I got from Nordstrom Rack.
