Hi! I’m selling this black leather Louis W jacket from A.P.C., size XS.

I bought it for $1,765 (plus shipping), which makes it the priciest item in my wardrobe.

It's in amazing condition. As you can see from the photos, there are no real signs of use because I've worn it 10 or 12 times; truly! I thought I’d splurge on a killer jacket, but despite its soft leather and excellent construction, it’s been mostly stuck in my closet. Every time I would put it on to go out, I’d think, “hmmm….nah” and grab one of my other go-to jackets. Before I knew it, this expensive jacket had spent years in my closet. Ridiculous.

I'm mostly selling it because I’ve had a big lifestyle change. I used to visit this forum a ton between 2011- 2017, but since the pandemic, I’ve started working remotely and stopped caring about cool/expensive clothes like I used to. That makes it sound like I’ve become a depressed slob, haha, but my life has changed and I just have other interests and responsibilities now.

Anyway, I’ve been clearing out my closet and gave a few things to friends, but thought this would be a super reasonable price especially given its condition.

Pit to pit is 18”. The lower torso is slightly tapered near the pockets/stomach so it’s maybe 17.5 farther below.

Please note: I shortened the sleeves a little when I bought it for a perfect fit. They were expertly tailored by Johnson Leathers in San Francisco. It measures 22” from the shoulder seam where the arm starts to the end of the cuffs.

You may notice that the left collar (right side when looking at the photos) has a very slight indentation; that’s just the shape of the leather. And the smuges in the photo where I'm wearing the jacket are from the mirror, not the jacket itself!

For reference, I have a 36” chest, height 5’6’ (and a half to be exact), and my build is slim/athletic. It fits me pretty snugly in the chest. I wear XS in most brands. For instance, Theory XS fits me perfectly, XS in RRL, Uniqlo can be XS or XXS depending on how fitted I want it, but I do wear S in some brands like Zara/Massimo Dutti.

The price is $200 but I added a bit for the Paypal seller fees. I’d take Venmo too, but I figured folks would want the buyer protection offered by Paypal, which is fine.

It would ship from the SF bay area, California and I can ship next business day. I haven’t checked the shipping cost, but am not looking to profit off the shipping; just let me know where you live and we’ll figure it out and ship with tracking & insurance. I haven't included shipping, but can’t imagine shipping would run more than $15 or $20 within the continental US, depending on the speed you'd like?

While I've bought a few things here, mostly RRL jeans, I’ve never sold anything on Styleforum, but if you look at my history you’ll see I’m a longtime poster. Let me know if you have any questions at all or have concerns. Thanks for looking!

There's more pics online if you google "Corleone jacket Louis W", but I’m always happy to take some more shots if you need to look at specific details. The pics here are of the actual item.
