For sale: black Swaine&Adeney suitcase

For sale: black Swaine&Adeney suitcase

Up for grabs: a swell suitcase from SAB, bag- and casemakers to many illustrious clients.

Vintage make, but I've no guess about the age. Handmade in England for the original owner, with gilt initials under the wraparound leather belting.

Uppers fine leather, metal parts brass, handle is hand-sewn, zippers can be locked, keys stil intact, IDV-initials, leather belting for support, round corners, soft construction, light weight, brass reinforcement at the bottom, belting inside the case as well, lining feels like silk.

The upper has small hits here and there, otherwise in fine condition for its age. I've nourished the leather with several creams before listing. Works well in light use or for storing stuff, comes with that old leathery aroma.

Measurements: width 19 cm, length 62 cm, height 39 cm.

250 dollars + shipping anywhere.
