If you're looking at this auction you already know what this coat is. For sale here is a never worn Grandad wool coat from De Bonne Facture, in size 38/48, from F/W 2020. The color of this one is grey and brown herringbone. The color in the pictures of it hanging are most accurate to real life.
This coat is the ultimate in slouch and comfort. It's a fantastic long double breasted coat that somehow manages to not look stuffy at all. Th style of this coat is definitely "oversized". I wear a size 38/40 in most mens jackets, and a medium in shirts. This coat is the correct size for me and it is quite roomy underneath. I have attached the size chart from Division Road, a retailer who carries it, and took pics with measurements. Please know your size because there are no returns for size reasons. These coats fit big, on purpose: that's the look. If you want something slim fitting, try a different brand.
I bought this coat at the end of last winter, had the sleeves taken up a couple inches, and hung it up in the closet. Never been worn outside, or at all, other than to try it on. I took a pic of the raglan sleeve/shoulder so you get an idea of the overall length of the sleeves. I am 5'7" and the sleeves work for me, just by way of a point of comparison. The sleeves look a little strange in the pics only because I have the cuffs buttoned so they are a little narrowed at the cuff opening.
Also: there is about 1.25-1.5 inches of material in the sleeves that can be let out some in case the sleeves are a little short for people.
