I have a pair of lightly worn Crockett & Jones "Savile" dark brown monk straps in size 6 (UK) on the 337 last. They feature a single hand-finished brass buckle. The soles have been professionally treated with Topy (see photos).
These shoes are around $750 new. The Saville is a handgrade shoe made from calf skin of the highest quality. The shoes are breathtakingly lovely, by far the nicest I have ever owned, but they are too narrow for my toes to the point of causing acute discomfort when I wear them. I profoundly regret having to part with them.
