Crockett & Jones / RL McCallum US 10D Brown Shell Cordovan Chukka

These are extremely rare Crockett & Jones for Ralph Lauren Brown Shell Cordovan Chukka Boots in size US 10D. This model was called the Ralph Lauren McCallum and was manufactured by Crockett & Jones in England. These are made on the 325 last and fit true-to-size. They are NOT UK sized. The marked size is a US size. Although they have not been sold for a few years, the original retail price for these shoes was over $1,000 and they are extremely well made shoes. Since these are goodyear welt construction they can be recrafted by a cobbler or, most likely, Crockett & Jones once the sole is worn out (you have a LONG ways to go before this will be required).

They are in excellent condition and should last a lifetime with basic care. Although the shoes are used, they have been maintained well as should be evident from the photos. There are absolutely no cracks, cuts, or gouges in the shell cordovan. The lining is likewise in good condition with the original gold Ralph Lauren hallmark still in good shape. There is a mark on the tongue that will most likely be covered while wearing the shoes (that was the case for me). Also of note is the fantastic patina, particularly in the sun. I wasn't able to photograph them quite as well as I had hoped but they are something to behold in the right light and make a huge statement!

Unfortunately, I do not have the original box or bags for the shoes, however they will be packed carefully to ensure that they arrive in the condition shown in the photographs. Shoe trees are not included.
