Brooks Brothers x Loro Piana Waterproof Wool Bomber (Storm System)

This is a new/unworn/deadstock/NWT Brooks Brothers x Loro Piana Storm System bomber jacket in navy wool. The deal with these is that there's a wool outer layer and a waterproof-breathable membrane embedded between the wool and inner lining layer. This makes this jacket waterproof like a Gore-Tex piece but look more refined/dressy. The wool layer is quite soft.

Another nice feature is the dual-entry pockets. You can use them as top-entry pockets to drop in your phone/wallet etc and then put your hands in from the side (as the photos show). The pockets are separated so your hands won't be in the same pocket bag even though from the outside you can't see both pocket entries. Pretty nice. There are also nice interior pockets for wallet, phone, etc and a nice smooth lining.

This is the OLDER version of this jacket, which is actually preferable. The current one with the leather trim is not as well reviewed. This has been stored in a clothing bag with cedar blocks in a temperature-controlled environment and is in perfect condition. Retail was $598.
