Very rare pair of new bespoke Mavericks from the famed Riccardo Bestetti studio. These were delivered to me last year after a full year from the date of order. Unfortunately the instep is a little high for me as I have flattish feet.
I have pretty standard feet length and width wise. I wear size EU38, US6 in Alden's, UK5/5.5 for Carmina and Edward Greens. These shoes fit perfectly other than the instep, which doesn't conform to my flat profile of my feet. I suspect Marco simply assigned at standard size for these shoes.
These shoes are some of the best made shoes I've ever own, beautifully executed, stitching is tight, straight, and neat. Hand-lasted, hand-welted. If you've never heard of Riccardo Bestetti, check out the brand here:

Riccardo Bestetti 'Maverick' - My Favorite Adelaide - The Shoe Snob Blog
Out of all of the “very classic” oxford styles (saddle not included in this ideology) the adelaide is probably among my top favorites. The fact that the separation of the facing is there just allows for a much more interesting look in the shoe, particularly because the vamp extends all the way...
