This wallet is handmade by me. It's a standard design, six card slots, two hidden slots, and a billfold. Closed, it measures 4.5" x 3.5" and 9" x 3.5" open. Each card slot will hold multiple cards.
I used glazed black American Alligator from AmTan for the outer backing. This has been finished by the tannery to produce the wonderful shiny surface.
The interior is made of black Waprolux calfskin, and all card slots, pockets, and the billfold are fully lined with red goatskin from Alran. The tops of the card slots are skived, folded, glued and then stitched to produce a hidden color effect, visible in some of the shots below.
All stitching is done by hand with waxed linen thread. Rough edges are sanded, painted, and then polished with wax until they take a sheen.
