Aquascutum used to make some damn fine rain coats. That's what nailed their reputation all right.

This fine rain mac is vintage and made in Canada, so you can trust your butt that the quality is higher than what they put out these days.

The mac is understated and comes with a buttoned wool lining, it's great for each season. The hem is longer, so your suit will stay dry.

This one has raglan sleeves, 2 hacking pockets, 2 breast pockets, short bal-collars, wool lining, longer hem, hidden buttoning, back vent, Aquascutum colour lining.

The size tag reads 44 UK and this rings true.

There is no tag about the composition of the outer fabric, but it feels like solid gabardine cotton. The lining is 75 % wool, 20 % nylon, 5 % something else.

The detachable lining has two rubbed spots and there is some gunk on one elbow. The cloth itself is excellent.

Exact measurements: shoulder to shoulder (raglan) 49 cm, neck to cuff (raglan) 86 cm, armpit to pit 61 cm, neck to hem 116 cm.
