If you're reading this, then you already know the quality and timeless style of Alden shoes. This is a beautiful and rare pair of Alden color 8 shell cordovan loafers. These were a special make-up for Alden of Madison, NY. They are the "high vamp" model (67169). They have been worn sparingly and are in excellent condition. The sunlight photos reveal the depth and richness of the burgundy undertones characteristic of Horween's color 8 shell cordovan leather. The soles are in excellent condition with many more years of wear.
They are on the Grant last and are a US size 6.5D. Since the Grant last runs large, these are equivalent to a US 7D in most other lasts. Therefore, if you normally wear a 7D in most shoes, these should fit you.
Note: I have attached tongue pads inside the shoes as can bee seen in the photo. These can be easily removed. I will keep the tongue pads attached and leave it up to the winning bidder whether or not he wishes to keep them.
