For sale is a beautiful, highly sought after pair of Alden Color 8 Shell Cordovan Medallion Cap Toe Boots in size 8.5D on the Aberdeen last, model D6819 (AOC-9).
These boots are in excellent pre-owned condition in their original box, and have only been worn ten times, mostly indoors on carpet. There is some wear on the vamp (creasing), a few minor nicks and scuffs on the uppers, and some light sole wear. There is some minor spotting/welting on the vamps as well. These boots tend to exhibit "bloom", a natural characteristic of healthy shell cordovan where the boots develop a white film from time to time - this film is merely the fat liquors from the shell tanning process being brought up to the surface. One can simply brush or wipe the bloom off, and the boots glow even more.
The boots are on an antique, flat welt with a double oak leather sole and feature matched eyelets. The original MRSP on these boots was $741 from Alden of Carmel. The original Alden box and dust bags are included. Shoe trees are not included. Please know your size in the Alden Aberdeen last, as there are absolutely no returns.
