Just wanted everyone to know about this service. I just used it to send funds for a purchase from another SF forum member and it saved BOTH of us quite a bit. Conversion rates are much better than PayPal.
The company is Transferwise and they are operated by the folks behind Skype.
We can all save $€£ and reduce costs to all.
Moderators- If this is an inappropriate post, please delete as I have no affiliation with this company but I was fed up with the conversion rates on PayPal and the seller let me know about Tranferwise, so just passing it on.
My fee was $5.95 on $680.00 and I don't believe it cost the seller anything. The best part is they guarantee the google quoted conversion rate for 24 hours. I believe I saved approx. $20.00 NOT using PayPal. Nothing against PayPal - just looking for a way to not throw away funds when I get nothing of value in return, other than the ability to pay a bill.
