Question (originally posted by @SonniHS ): I may have made a rookie-mistake (see picture below); any advice?
I guess I used too much water, when trying to polish with Saphir Medaille d'or.
I put Medaille d'or on a cloth and (too much) water. As a rookie mistake, when it didn't begin to shine, I overdid it. Now the area is sort of rough.

Answer (originally posted by @Darell John ):
1) Let the things dry...
2) Apply a coat of renovateur
3) Apply three coats of cream polish, drying and buffing between coats
4) Wax, polish, dry and buff. Three coats
5) Spit shine about 20 coats

They're black. I think that you'll be fine.
