  • For what it’s worth, the H last looked great in person; very similar to Bonafè’s 946 but with a much more manageable instep. The espresso calf looks quite a bit darker in person than on the site and I think this increases its versatility. I can send photos of it if you’re curious.

I hope this is of some help!

I think I’d still go with a 7.5 in that last if I saw a model I really wanted and the width at the ball might be more forgiving in a chukka or boot and/or in a suede model.
They didn’t have a 7.5 in stock to try on in that model which was unfortunate.

However, a 7.5 in the H last fit really well; I even tried it on twice over the course of the hour I was there to be sure. The S in a 7.5 was a good fit lengthwise and in the heel but felt a bit tight by my right little toe, which is my Problem Toe and the reason that RTW is so challenging for me.
I normally wear a UK8 in Rain (although the width at the little toe is a bit too tight in an oxford) and thought I could take the same in L&T based on their sizing descriptions but am glad I was able to try these on in person as that wasn’t the case. The 8 felt much bigger in the forefoot and was quite loose over the top of my toes. This was from the brown grain derby which I believe is in the T last.
    Hey HB,

I saw your post in the Skoaktiebolaget thread and thought I could be of help as we have similar feet.

I stopped by the shop yesterday and tried on a handful of the Löf & Tung shoes. Not every last was represented on their showtable but I at least got to try on the S last in a few models as well as the T and H.

I’m limited to 420 characters so I’ll break this up into a few messages.
