So we're doing our first ever NYC sample sale which is a joint venture with our more beautiful counterpart - boutiqueon57.com. All you NYC locals please feel free to stop by and say hello - although it's probably going to be tight/crowded as the space is very small.

    December 2-3-4 10:00am - 7:00pm

    Boutiqueon57: 12 W. 57th #807

Our area of the sale is going to be quite small relative to what we have on our site - we'll have pieces from Brioni, Belvest, Benjamin, Cucinelli, Valentino, and Zegna. Nothing new/different from what's already on our site - just a small representation. Prices are going to be the same as online - so frankly you're probably better off buying online as we have the free shipping promotion and you won't have to pay sales tax (up front at least)! I'll be there mostly only morning to mid-day (daddy duty - gotta pick up the kids from school!)

Kiton offerings are going to be for women only, but we'll be getting in a huge shipment of Kiton men within the next 2 weeks. We're also expecting some new hand made shirts which we're very excited about, as well as about 100 suits from Raffaele Caruso's Sartoria Parma label. So stay tuned!

    Hope to see you,

    Ben

Yes - we'll have them in January in charcoal and a few other solids.

RE: sample sale. We got there today and there was only one lousy rack for our use - it was/is quite embarrassing... but I did get to meet one or two forum members! I will not be there tomorrow as they need help in the warehouse with all the orders which are coming through... but to manage expectations - we have only one rack there. If you want to see the Benjamin suits in person we do have some there so feel free to check them out and shoot me an email if you have any questions!

FRUSTRATED... customs is holding up our mother load shipment of Kiton - mostly due to the Vicuna and Guanaco pieces. They're also doing a physical inspection of the Caruso/Sartoria Parma suits, so yet another delay... so to the many who are inquiring about when we're getting this incredible shipment in, we're hoping sooner rather than later, but at this point the delay is beyond our control unfortunately. There's a slight chance we'll have the Caruso suits tomorrow, but that means they won't be up on the site until Monday at the earliest.

Caruso suits came in today - mostly beautiful english flannels in classic stripes and plaids in blues and grays... size euro 46 to euro 60. Some LP Zelander and Zegna fabrics peppered in also... and they threw in some Caruso made Burberry as well which was a surprise! Almost all Sartoria Parma with only one or two Raffaele Caruso black label suits.

Yes, we did get in several Caruso suits size 36R (euro 46R), and we are getting the Benjamin suits in 5 fabrics in the Lucente model later in January and will have 36R and 36S as well.

Caruso Sartoria Parma suits are up as of last night - only $599.99. Mostly flannels in sizes euro 46R - 60R. The fabrics are fantastic - just in time for the cold weather! We already sold 6 suits overnight without sending out word, so it appears some of you guys have been stalking us for these!

    Happy Holidays to all...

Customs is holding up the shipment due to the Vicuna pieces - we have the proper fish & wildlife license to import, but the supplier did not have all the permits required for shipping the Vicuna, so it's been held up for the past 10 days in customs. Now we're trying to parse the Vicuna pieces from the rest of the shipment so we can get all but the 4 or 5 Vicuna pieces in - we're looking at the beginning of next week at the very earliest [IMG]

    C'est la vie...

Are all the Caruso suits 3-roll-2 or are some 3 button ? I am interested in knwoing whether this is a 3-roll-2. http://store.ehaberdasher.com/Detail.bok?no=4263

Also do you ship to India ??

Many are higher 3-button, a few are 3-roll-2 button. The one you are inquiring about does roll slightly off the top button, so in our opinion it would constitute a 3-roll-2.5.

Yes we do ship to India (but do you wear flannel out there?!)

I dont why everyone has an impression that its 100 F in India all year around. The winters in Delhi are pretty severe and I dislike the flimsy Italian fabrics which are promoted by the tailors in India. I have a 21 oz jeans which I wear comfortably and also just got a suit made from Minnis flannel which I got from Andrew Rogers.

Clearly I am ignorant - please pardon me and I hope you have not been offended... please do let us know if you have any additional questions.

Of course I am not offended, its just that India has a certain impression w.r.t. its people, customs and even weather and the impressions are not always correct and/or cannot be applied in a general to 1 billion people (customs) and the 7th largest country by mass (weather). Just like it can be snowing in one part of the US and beach weather in another, the same is very possible in India.

On a 3 roll 2.5 do you do the top button up?!?

Nope, we assert you should always leave the top button UNbuttoned on a 3-button.
