too bad those are expensive as hell

What, those scraps of leather? You could make a dozen of those things in a half hour after a quick visit to an arts and crafts store.

I was thinking of starting to wear a thin gold bracelet on my wrist, doesn't seem like many guys do that these days.

I knew someone would respond with this, but seriously. You COULD make remarkably similar leather wrist bands with scrap leather and some fittings from a craft store. People have been making stuff like that since man invented clothing. I kinda wish a leather hobbyist with a minimal desire to pursue this could come along and actually do one.

There are several folks around here that do that- Zissou is one, unlucky is another. When they start getting good at it, people want to buy them. After a bit, questions come about whether they are a hobbyist or a business. And a new hobbyist begins.

Snagged it on Ebay for a flat 45$. Some wear on it, but that was cool with me--I added whole lots of wear on it since I doubled it up with the watch. They bang into each other a lot. Nevertheless, I don't mind since they look better worn. It also came with the original box and booklet, and the receipt (265$). So I was pretty happy with it. I also got a sick Konstantino cross pendent on ebay as well.

I like this a lot, but I hope that hook is not too sharp.

The Balenciagas are really cool. Nevertheless, most probably could not get away with wearing them.

Anything with metal on it, I'd be worried about banging against someone's car or something, or worse my own.
