Why is plaid flannel considered cool when it really isn't?

I went through a very similar period with weezer, but I don't think cursive could make as shitty of albums as weezer has its last 4 attempts.

who- what do you think, does it have any potential at all?

Actually, I could see you wearing that up there for sure. It's not quite as "bad" as I had presumed initially. It's a different looking peacoat and as long as it actually fits I think you could definitely beat it up and give it the used look it needs.
    So how about Desaparecidos?
    Didn't like them, either.

The desaparecidos is the only thing conor oberst has done I find remotely tolerable aside from a handful of songs on digital ash...

Digital Ash was ok but I still find myself listening to I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. Maybe it's just because I like the twang.

I think this looks pretty good. Schott makes something similar, if that validates the idea.

When I wear buffalo plaid outerwear, people often say I look "Canadian." Something to keep in mind.

I am not opposed to the idea of looking 'Canadian'.

Some people might consider me half Canadian, or maybe even an Anchor Baby.

It's cold in my apartment so I ordered a few flannel shirts from Uniqlo to wear when I'm at home. Hopefully I won't look like I'm trying too hard to be cool by wearing something uncool when really I'm just cold... or something... anyway, yeah, Cursive sucks.

Because it is thanksgiving I would like to announce how thankful I am that this thread is here to remind us of what is and is not something as relative as 'cool'.

I don't really care... just as long as i don't sucked into the "fashion mistakes" but then again it's not as bad as baggy pants or something like that. It depends on wat you wear it with.

I still have some of my old plaid flannel shirts from the early 90s that I still wear occasionally. I like them and in northern Ontario they're pretty useful.
