first, think of a single person in music. for example, keith richards.

second, think of a group or band that that single person could single handedly thrash. i.e. maroon 5.

    it's easy and fun.?.?..?

johnny cash vs. any rubbish no wave/dance band.

Why would Mr. Cash be placed in a grudge match against a collective of music visionaries whose creativity evolved into one of the most popular styles of modern rock music? Even bands like the Chili Peppers would not be around if it weren't for Andy Gill and James Chance. Not to mention that Chance and Gill were both influenced by Cash. Sounds like you're just trying to pick fights.

Speaking about Cash, anybody hear the last track on the new Sage Francis record? Yeah, I'm sure he'd be proud to be epitomized by an artist who claims 'god's not a woman, he's a bitch.'
    Francis sure can flow, though.

So here's one: me vs. Sage Francis. He'll think it's just another battle. Until I punch him in the mouth.

I like Atmosphere when I'm feeling giddy and just looking for some fun, but Slug usually loses out to Eminem (whom I really don't listen to), lyrically, battle-ly, and otherwise.
