I don't, but I've seen these kinds of vintage garments and always wondered why they aren't readily available anymore. Old Steed episodes are an example with a sort of neo-Edwardian flair (or eclecticness).

That's not just a function of the stays but also of the stuffness of the (patch?) fusing / interling and the collar height.

Did you have them adjust the collar height at all? I think your AM collars look much, mucg better in that regard:

Was never really into Friends. More of a Seinfeld guy I guess. I was living in New York during that time, and was the same generation as everyone in Friends, but Seinfeld seemed like the weird but funny uncle that insisted on wearing tennis shoes with his belt and jeans. Now that Friends is on Netflix though, I might give it a chance.

I didn't realize they were mutually exclusive. Seinfeld was clearly a much better show, but Friends was quite good for the first seasons.

    This ^

    And this^

I still watch Seinfeld re-runs but not Friends. But that may be due to where and when each is aired

I feel like Friends > Seinfeld is a position you could only take for a #slatepitch

Was "Seinfield vs Friends" a thing in the US? I honestly never thought about them as competing in any way... were they on the same night on different networks?

"Seinfled vs Friends" was sort of a thing over here, since they were both aired around the same time, and we didn't have that many sitcoms here in Sweden. I agree though, Friends is not a bad TV show.

This. Seinfeld was a "better" show, but Friends was also excellent. It was certainly simpler, but it was reliably funny, always had some lol moments, and it just had a great feel and vibe to it. It captured a generation very well, and the characters are very likable.

I have never really herd of people arguing which was better though. Pretty much everyone I know agrees to exactly what gdl said.
