Thanks guys. The alpaca scarf is just a simple Suit Supply and the (new) peccary gloves were found at a vintage shop, maker unknown.

Oh yes, sorry, that was me. Afterwards, I moved to Europe, to hide my tracks.

Assuming this is a response to Hampton's post above, I tend to agree. The same jacket and tie with white or light blue shirt, maybe?

A white shirt is all this fit needed to be great, with a slightly more spread collar. Many members seem to be petrified of wearing white shirts, buggered if I know why.

I love white shirts. They don't have to be the solid, plain ones. One can get white shirts with subtle designs and patterns.

I don't have anything against them, but more often than not I have better options.

a lot of it is specifically with SCs, sometimes with suits too. basically, SFs blue is everyone elses white. but yes, i too think that the white shirt dislike here, is a bit unwarranted/OTT at times.

I understand it with SC's for sure, but with suits I think the white/blue/other shirt ratio should be about 35% white, 50% blue and 15% others as a rough guide, not 95% blue and 5% white/others.

With Hampton's fit my first pick would have been a white shirt. If it was blue it would have to be very pale.

So would a white shirt or a light blue one work with a navy blue tie with larger white dots? Thinking about that outfit..?

^ Had problems with my old account's password. For some reason password reminder mails would not arrive, though I had no spam filters nor rules set up for SF. So I created a new account...

Real bummer is that my posts will have to be "held for moderation" for a while, but I can live with everything else.

I just wish this worsted flannel was a bit less shiny, but with so few DB jackets available at my affordable price point (if any at all), I can't complain.

Yes, I have a talent for strange facial expressions and yes, I have a dropped right shoulder unaccounted for in this suit.
