I'm looking for a watch to wear for biz casual and sometimes with a suit Which of these two do you like better in terms of looks and quality? I have relatively small wrists and forearms

The gevril is brand new for about $550; the LaCroix is used for about $850

I'll go against the grain and say that of those two, I prefer the Gevril. I've never been one to go for watches with multiple dials, and although I usually like a black face on a watch, I don't think it works with that Lacroix. I like the Gevril's simplicity.

Of those two, the Gevril looks far more formal then the Lacroix. The Lacroix looks like a pilot's or diver's watch with all those dials and is not the sort of watch one should wear with a business suit or in a semi-formal situation.

I too prefer the simplicity and easy elegance of the Gevril over the clustered complicated look of the Lacroix, which I personally think looks awful with the black face and 3 dials.

the GV2 logo kills that watch....and the cheap looking case.

maybe it's just the photo but my $35 timex looks nicer

I don't really like either of them very much, but if I had to pick ine I would pick the first one. To me the Lacroix looks like the cheaper of the two.

Most watches will have a logo of some sort emblazoned on the face. I don't think the "Gv2" logo is so bad. It doesn't take up too much room on the face, and it's not gaudy at all. I also don't really think it looks cheap; the case is fine to me. I've never understood the fascination with the giant sports/diver watches (I realize the Lacroix isn't one of those "giant" ones). Why do you need all those dials? An effective watch to me is a simple one. The purpose of an everyday watch is to tell time, not to accurately display the relative humidity, altitude, or barometric pressure.

To each his own, but I really do feel the black face ruins that Lacroix. It's not a bad watch overall, but compared to the other, I don't like it.

For dressier wear, I like the rounded Ogee case design on the Gevril, but am not wild about their dial logo. The Lacroix case has very sharp beveled edges and presents to me, a sportier appearance. So depending on what you are going to pair it with, make your choice. I'd go with the Gevril, but I am very traditional in dress and activities. Good luck.

Gevril looks much nicer to my eye.

This is why these kinds of polls are kind of pointless.
