    Sorry, but neither. I wouldn't wear that shirt either. At an interview, you want to stand out without standing out....if you know what I mean. Look good, but not flashy. Ties and shirt are a bit too much.

    I wouldn't choose either look, but if for whatever faulty notion you may have you want to look flashy, I suppose the purple is the flashier necktie.

    Message received gents (along with some prodding from wife). I suppose this isn't the time to goof around with colors/patterns. I changed things up to be a bit more sober. Thanks for the comments.

    I completely agree!! Try dressing soberer like wearing a simple white collar shirt or choose a light shade where a tie and a bow-tie is out of the question.
    Minimize jewelry, except a watch but not a sporty one
    Next, lace up the black shoes, clean nails, combed hair, etc.....
