Come on, this thread is worthless without pics! I suspect that most people didn't have a digital cam in 2000 (I had just gotten my first one then), thus images are not readily accessible ... but at least try. These are vacation photos (from 2000), but fairly representative of what I wore most of the time. Jeans, sweaters, casual shirts, t-shirts. I worked in the tech industry, so dress didn't matter. Shirt, sweater, jacket and shoes are Banana Republic. Jeans - I only wore 517's. [IMG] [IMG] And this one is for Mike. Same trip, but I didn't catch it myself ... [IMG]

^ Despite a few minor stylistic elements, the only thing thats really changed is the fold on the PS.

Even the girl is the same, as it has been for 27 years.

    Yes, usually.

I'd say the whole aesthetic has become a lot more refined since then, as one would expect.

I posted some pics from 10 years ago in a a similar sw&d thread a few years ago. I don't know where the pics or that thread is now. My casual style hasn't changed a whole lot, except I used to wear leather jackets more and I never do now, and I dress up a lot more now. I have and wear a lot of the same pieces, especially the sweaters.
