I've been invited to an release party for a book coming out this week in NYC. The event should be filled with celebs and such. I'm thinking of wearing my skinny, black Valentino suit. What kind of shirt do you guys think would go best? What type of accessories, etc... I want to be creative here.

I don't know if this is a similar situation for you, but I recently went out on a Saturday-- a day I refuse to shave. So, I dressed up my suit (navy Sartoria Attolini with french blue pinstripes) with pocket square, cufflinks. My event was a political dinner, all kinds of people-- but I got some great looks from a few ladies who were with guys with lots of $$, from the looks of 'em.
