    Hello Everyone! (very 1st post)

So I saw these Neumok Wingtip Oxfords (in navy blue) while shopping at Allen Edmonds and I'm a very visual person. I was looking online to see what to wear with these type of shoes but I haven't found any images that display this shoe with any specific clothing. I don't want to necessarily get these shoes if I can't use these shoes in my rotations weekly.

    My questions:

What color pants blend well with these shoes?
Is there a specific rule when pairing specific colors together?
Can these pass as my black pair of dress shoes? (use these in place of my black shoes)

    Thanks in advance guys!

Do you wear business casual to work or more formal stuff?

The Neumok is a pretty casual shoe; it's a softer leather and the light contrast of the sole pushes it further down the casual spectrum. So you're already confined to the realm of cotton, denim, and maybe linen pants. From there the fact that they are blue is going to make them tough to pair with most jeans, so for all intents and purposes I'd say you're left with tan/khaki, cream, white, and light grey.

These aren't a faint shade of dark navy that looks nearly black, like navy shell can be, so I don't think you can consider these a substitute for the situations you would wear black shoes.

Finally, unless you already have a lot of brown shoes in different shades and leathers, I'd consider whether you'd be better served with something more versatile, depending on what you need and wear most often.

Thanks! I've switched over to Allen Edmonds shoes because I like the quality. Of course these are mostly utilized in a business casual setting, wanted to get a nice pair in various colors ans styles that I out last the test of time.
