Yup, I think the opening part is in 17/8. A lot of times I think artists use odd time signatures just for the sake of doing something odd, but this sounds entirely natural and right to me. If you enjoy odd time signatures, this whole album is full of them.

Also, I just love the part around 4:00 when she sings "and kick into the start" and rolls the r!

I was initially disappointed, being a big BJork fan, but the record has started to grow on me.

    +1, nice.

Lately a wild mix, among others Cab Calloway (Ella Fitzgerald), Gnarls Barkley -- Danger Mouse is really good --, thus Beck (Modern Guilt) and Black Keys, too. Sia. Chemical Brother's Hanna soundtrack. Some Adele. Gorillaz. QOTSA. Zaz. And some old school rap (3MG, Public Enemy, Eminem, Guru, Hard Knocks, Shwayze (ok, not really old school)). One playlist. Random.

Good idea. I've got all the songs.

TV on the Radio - Nine Types of Light - Sort of emoPrince. Meh
Sonic Youth - The Eternal - I've never understood this music. Like The Velvet Underground meets Metallica. Blerg
The Walkmen - Lisbon - Like a cross between Vampire Weekend and Arctic Monkeys. Meh
