skalogre, apparently there was a problem getting your zune info. [IMG]

I'm not sure if I've been listening to anything in particular lately, except maybe Ted Leo in preparation for his show last Saturday, and the Michael Showalter comedy album a few times.

Yeah, the zune card itself is flash so I neede to use a third party site's hack to make it appear as a plain image. Seems that website is getting hammered [IMG]

Strangely enough my last.fm image is also flakey.

Ted Leo is ao awesome. His last album is definitely his worst but it's still enjoyable. Hearts of Oak is a fucking masterpiece. At the moment, I'm listening to The National all the time and, in between, Random Spirit Lover - the lastest fan-fucking-tastic Sunset Rubdown album. Once you "get" it, it's the best thing you'll hear in a long time.

Is this just an internet radio thing? Or can I look up specific bands? *edit* This is pretty cool. Thanks!

The audioscrobbler plugins are great. I have them on MediaMonkey, foobar2000 and WMP. Pity it is not possible to integrate the Zune 2 software with it. Score one for the Applod [IMG]

    oh no...

Ive been listening to nothing but The Beatles lately. Im trying to arrange enough songs to do an all Beatle's instrumental/surf cover band. Kind of like The Ramonaventures but with Beatles songs...Ive got 2 so far (Ticket to Ride and I feel Fine (arr. by The Ventures))

I have always disliked Daft Punk - and had a lot of opportunities to dislike them because they were played everywhere: their music is slow and annoyingly 'thin.'

But Alive 2007 isn't half bad.

Recently I have been listening to A1 People - The Yellow Album and Tool - 10000 Days. Strange mix :p

I've been getting into Steely Dan's first album lately, one which I've kind of ignored in the past (Can't Buy a Thrill). It's a shame, because aside from the obvious masterpieces on this record such as Do it Again and Reelin' in the Years, it contains some unheralded gems.

"Only a Fool Would Say That" is spectacular. It makes one think of some absurd fellow living a vapid life in Mexico. "Fire in the Hole" has a KILLER intro.

Always listen to Vocal Trance channel in Digitially Imported (di.fm) while programming... I like being alone so I can blast it.
