I love that movie too. I never really got into lucid dreaming though and I feel like I might get more out of it if I did.

Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy with some friends, on a whim. I was not at all familiar with comic and had no idea what I was going in to. I actually thought the beginning was a trailer, took about 3 minutes to realize the movie had started.

That being said, I actually liked it a lot. I thought the sheer number of bad guys was at times confusing, but the idea was pretty clear. I thought the character interactions were cute, had some lawlz. Really, really, liked the graphics. It seemed that at times instead of trying to use CGI to make something impossible look "real" they just changed mediums to comic book graphics, paintings, or just straight obvious digital, thought it was well done and very pretty. Some solid fighting too.

The Avengers tie in was pretty sweet too.

Story on the whole was kinda whatever, but I never go into comic book movies for stellar plots. Just a bad guy and guy guy will do.

Enjoyed RUSH very much as expected seeing the trailers

Niki Lauda vs James Hunt :slayer:

Gives me a greater appreciation for Formula 1 racing and cars in general..

    of course Olivia Wilde

The score also reminded me of GoT, yesss

Rush was a fantastic movie. Loved watching it.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a lot of fun. Not the finest cinematic masterpiece by a long shot, but it totally earned my money in sheer entertainment value. My favorite Marvel movie so far.

    Yes.

You had me up until the last part. I don't think it was my favorite marvel movie, but it was a lot of fun.

Finished up my HBO War miniseries run with the final episode of Generation Kill last night. What a fantastic run that was. Really, really enjoyed all 3 miniseries. Now I need some more good war movies.

I have seen most of the famous ones, and I plan on watching Patton next. Any other movies I should check out in the war genre?
